Guidance for a woman who lives with her husband's brothers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A letter reached the program from one of the female listeners from the United Arab Emirates. She says: Your sister Zaynab is a Pakistani resident in the Emirates. Our sister has a letter in which she says: Your Eminence, Shaykh 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Baz! Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings. And after that:
Your Eminence, in my name and in the name of the Muslims, I thank Your Eminence for the efforts you make in serving Islam and enlightening Muslims about their religious and worldly affairs. I inform you that I read your books frequently, as my father's library is filled with your valuable books. May Allah benefit us with them. Amen.
Now I present to Your Eminence the following question: You know, Your Eminence, that it is very difficult for a person to give up the customs and traditions of his country. And there are customs in our country, which are that a woman in her husband's house finds the in-laws and her husband's father, and the rest of the husband's brothers, his mother, and his sisters. And as you know, Your Eminence, it is not permissible to uncover the face before the in-laws. My question is: What do I do in such a situation? And am I required not to apply kohl, and not to wear anything but clothes that are not adornment in themselves, knowing that my husband is unable to build another house, and because his family does not approve of it, and he also does not want to live except with his brothers, his father, and his mother?
Please advise us. May Allah reward you with good for us and for Islam.

Answer:
It is obligatory for you to fear Allah, and to veil yourself from your in-laws, and from all the in-laws, and to be patient in that, and to fear Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He). There is no blame on you in that, and praise be to Allah. It is upon your husband and your husband's family to excuse you; because you did the prescribed thing. And Allah says, Glorified is He:
And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts.
[Al-Ahzab: 53].
So it is obligatory for you to veil and cover yourself from the in-laws when gathering with them, with kind speech, and greeting them with words, but with veiling and covering, and not shaking hands except with a mahram.
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way outوَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا
[Al-Talaq: 2],
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him of his matter ease.وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ يُسْرًا
[Al-Talaq: 4].
It is obligatory for your husband, and his father, and all the in-laws to excuse you in the veil; because you obeyed Allah, and stayed away from fitnah. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
