How to perform wudu for one who has urinary incontinence

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This is a questioner for the program al-Haqqiyyah who sent this question. He says—May the Shaykh be respected—he mentions that he is afflicted with the disease of urinary incontinence. How does he perform wudu for prayer? He says: Because I have heard from some scholars and read that it is obligatory for me to perform wudu for every prayer time, but I—praise be to Allah—pray in the mosque. If I want to perform wudu when the time enters, the takbir of ihram and the first and second rak'ahs may be missed by me, especially in the Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers. Is it permissible for me to perform wudu before the time enters, even if it is by five minutes? And what is the situation also regarding the Friday prayer?

Answer:
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the woman with irregular bleeding to perform wudu for the time of every prayer. He said:
I perform wudu for the time of every prayerتوضئي لوقت كل صلاة
The woman with irregular bleeding is the one with whom continuous blood follows, or the one with whom it is predominant. He ordered her to perform wudu for the time of every prayer.
The one with urinary incontinence, or continuous or predominant passing of wind, is like the woman with irregular bleeding. He performs wudu for every prayer. He wraps something around his penis—if it is urine—he wraps something on it to preserve it. When the time enters, he performs wudu as the woman with irregular bleeding does, whether it is for Friday, or for Maghrib, or otherwise. Even if he misses part of the prayer,
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[al-Taghabun:16] because purity is a condition for prayer. So when the mu'adhdhin calls for Maghrib, or the last adhan for Friday, he performs wudu and comes to the mosque. Even if he misses part of the prayer, or even if he misses part of the khutbah, because this is a condition of purity, a condition for prayer, and praise be to Allah.
And if treatment is available, he should treat this incontinence with some of the specialized doctors, or the continuous passing of wind; every disease has a cure, so it is treated. Praise be to Allah. Yes.
