The ruling on depriving a daughter of her inheritance due to the high costs of her marriage

Question:
Also, His Eminence the Shaykh says regarding this topic, approximately: My father spent four thousand pounds on my marriage, and I have a sister who got married and he spent ten thousand Egyptian pounds on her marriage. So, does she have the right to claim her inheritance after the father's death?
Answer:
Give her her inheritance and do not deprive her of it; because the previous gift is something other than the inheritance. If you wish to claim something from what you gave her, because it was an increase over what you gave others, this is a matter for the legal judge to rule on between you. You should appoint a scholar known for knowledge and virtue to look into it. If you forgive her and give her the inheritance, that is better for you and better in the outcome, if Allah wills. And whoever forgives and makes amends, his reward is with Allah. This is a kinship tie that must be maintained, and you are in a good state.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith:Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 56, and she is a kinship tie for you. So if you forgive her, that is better. And if you take her to a scholar from the scholars of the Shari'ah known for goodness, knowledge, and virtue to judge between you, there is no harm.
