The virtue of breaking one's fast with seven dates from the Ajwa of Madinah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Your Eminence, what has been reported regarding eating the seven dates? And are they of a specific variety?

Answer:
This is also a form of treatment. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever breaks his fast with seven dates from the Ajwa of Madinah, no sorcery or poison will harm him.من تصبح بسبع تمرات من عجوة المدينة؛ لم يضره سحر، ولا سم
In another wording:
from what is between its two banksمما بين لابتيها
meaning: from all the dates of Madinah,
From what is between its two banks, no sorcery or poison will harm him.مما بين لابتيها، لم يضره سحر، ولا سم
and it is hoped that the same applies to the rest of the dates; it is hoped that if one breaks his fast with seven dates from the rest of the dates, Allah will benefit him with that as well.
