Whoever eats seven dates in a day; he is protected from sorceryمن أكل سبع تمرات في اليوم؛ منع من السحر
What is the authenticity of this statement?

Answer:
This is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
Whoever eats seven dates in the morning from the Ajwa of Madinahمن تصبح بسبع تمرات من عجوة المدينة
Sunan al-Bayhaqi 17:525
And in the other wording:
From what is between its two banks -meaning: Madinah- no sorcery or poison will harm himمما بين لابتيها -يعني: المدينة- لم يضره سحر، ولا سم
This is established in the authentic collections; it is an authentic hadith.
