Permissibility of a woman receiving treatment from a male doctor out of necessity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The following letter is from one of the female listeners. She says: The sender is Umm Aml. Umm Aml has a case in which she says: I have been married for ten years, and I have not given birth to more than one child in the last eight years. I stopped having children after that without any cause on my part, but by the will of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). I have presented myself to many female doctors, but to no avail. So, is it permissible for me, O honorable Shaykh, to present myself to male doctors? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Yes, if there are male specialists in diagnosing women’s diseases that prevent pregnancy, and no female doctors are available to take their place, then there is nothing wrong with a woman presenting herself regarding a disease that the women do not know about.
Likewise, if a man has a disease that the male doctors do not know about, and there are female doctors who know this disease, or it is hoped that they will know this disease, then there is nothing wrong.
The point is: treating a woman by a male doctor when there is a need, and treating a man by a female doctor when there is a need, is without blame. However, if there is someone sufficient to do it, then the doctor should be for men and the female doctor for women, out of caution regarding free mixing of men and women, which may harm everyone, and out of caution regarding trial, discord or temptation.
But out of dire necessity, it is permissible for a man to treat a woman, and it is permissible for a woman to treat a man out of the dire necessity that calls for it. And Allah is the One to be asked for help. Yes.

The presenter: And Allah is the Helper, may Allah reward you with good.
