The ruling on making oneself hear the recitation in prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it true that a Muslim must hear himself say what he is saying in prayer?

Answer:
Yes, one does not speak unless he makes himself hear it, provided he can hear. As for one who has difficulty hearing, he speaks to the extent of his ability without disturbing those around him. That is, he must be certain that he has pronounced the words. He must pronounce them with his tongue, not merely with his intention. He must pronounce them in a way that the speaker can hear from himself, provided his hearing is sound. However, if there is a defect in his hearing, he should not raise his voice, as that would harm people and disturb them. But he must ensure that he has pronounced the recitation. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
