Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Her final question, which we are presenting, says: I want to memorize the Noble Qur'an, but I find it difficult. What is your advice and guidance for me in this matter? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
We advise you to seek help from Allah. Be supplicating to Allah, asking Him in prostration, at the end of the tashahhud, at night, in the last part of the night, in the middle of the night. Ask Him, the Exalted, to help you memorize it, while you are sincere and humble, saying: O Lord, help me to memorize Your great Book. O Allah, help me to memorize it. O Allah, make it easy for me to memorize it. Along with sincere supplication, strive in action. Strive in memorization at the appropriate times when you are free, at night or during the day. Start with Surat al-Baqarah or from the last part of the Qur'an, and read what is easy for you. Read something every day, even if it is a little. Read something every day, even if it is a little, and strive in studying it... repeating it until it becomes settled, and so on until you complete it, if Allah wills.
Be keen to utilize the appropriate times at night or during the day when the heart is free, and arrange it little by little: half... an eighth... a page every day, two pages every night, according to what is easy. With sincerity, desire for what is with Allah, and asking Allah for success and assistance; rejoice in good. Allah the Exalted says:
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him of his matter ease.وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ يُسْرًا
[Al-Talaq:4]
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way outوَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا ۝
[At-Talaq 65:2]
and He will provide for him from sources he does not expect [Al-Talaq:2, 3].
So He, the Exalted, is with His awliya (close friends of Allah) who are mindful of Him, providing ease, guidance, success, and assistance. May Allah make your affairs easy, assist you, and keep us and you and all Muslims upon the truth and guidance.

The presenter: O Allah, amen. May Allah reward you with good.
