Is it permissible to recite for one who feels tightness in the chest?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
For a person who complains of tightness in the chest, is it permissible to recite for him?

Answer:
He should increase his remembrance of Allah and his recitation of the Qur'an. If it is recited for him, there is nothing wrong with it, but it is better for him to increase his recitation of the Qur'an and his remembrance of Allah, because this expands the chest.
Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured."أَلا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
[Surah al-Ra'd: 28] He should frequently say: "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent. Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. There is no power and no strength except by Allah. Glory be to Allah and His praise. Glory be to Allah, the Magnificent." He should frequently recite the Qur'an if he has it memorized, or from the final portion of the Qur'an if he has not memorized much, or repeat the surah he has memorized. All of this is among the causes of the expansion of the chest, along with supplication to the Lord. He says: "O Allah, expand my chest for me. O Allah, make my affairs easy for me. O Allah, expand my chest for me. O Allah, remove from me all distress. O Allah, cure me from all evil." Yes.
