Her father's paternal uncle is her paternal uncle. The father's paternal uncle is her paternal uncle. He is a mahram (a relative one may not marry) to her. Her father's paternal uncle and her grandfather's paternal uncle are her paternal uncles, as are her mother's paternal uncle and her grandmother's paternal uncle. They are mahrams to her; she may meet them, shake their hands, and does not have to veil herself from them. This is because a person's paternal uncle is his uncle, his father's paternal uncle is his uncle, his grandfather's paternal uncle is his uncle, and so on. Likewise, a maternal uncle: her mother's maternal uncle is her maternal uncle, her grandmother's maternal uncle is her maternal uncle, and her father's maternal uncle is her maternal uncle.
