Q: I have fallen in love with a girl from the best of the girls in the village I live in, in terms of religion, character, and manners, and it is for this reason that I love her. However, she is the daughter of my paternal aunt; her mother is my father's sister, the daughter of his paternal aunt. As for her father, he is my mother's maternal uncle, the brother of her father from both his mother and his father. Is it permissible for me to marry her? For this reason, I ask you, may Allah reward you with good, to guide me in this matter so that I do not fall into error or the punishment of the Creator. We ask Allah for safety for us and for you, and may Allah preserve you and grant you success.
A: It is permissible for you to marry the aforementioned girl, and what you mentioned regarding her being the daughter of your paternal aunt and her father being your mother's maternal uncle does not prevent marriage to her based on the original ruling. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
