Ruling on the emergence of yellow discharge from a woman after purification

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner: The questioner from Syria says: A woman gets her monthly period after eight days, then the blood stops, and she sees white discharge indicating purity. Then she takes a bath and prays. After that, she experiences a condition for five days or more where she sees white discharge in the morning, and on the same day she sees a trace, and this condition repeats several times a day. What is the ruling on this? May you be rewarded.

The Shaykh:
The Shaykh: If the custom has passed and she has become pure, she should not pay attention to the drops that come to her after that, or the yellow discharge, or anything else, until the next custom arrives. Praise be to Allah. Umm Atiyyah said: "We did not count the brownish discharge and yellow discharge after purification as anything." Umm Atiyyah was a Companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). So if she completes the custom and sees purity, she takes a bath and remains pure until the next custom. Any moisture, yellow discharge, brownish discharge, or drops of blood that occur in between are not considered. However, she should clean herself from it and protect herself from it with cotton or the like. She should perform ablution for each instance if something happens during the times of prayer; she performs ablution for the prayer. If it continues with her for a day or two, she performs ablution for each prayer when the time enters. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you, O Shaykh.
