Q4 - We know that purity is indicated by two states: dryness first, or the white discharge. My problem is that I see dryness, and then after a few days I see the white discharge. Sometimes I see the white discharge and then I see dark or yellow discharge after it. What is the ruling on each case, may Allah reward you, with mention of the evidence? And what is the difference between dark and yellow discharge?
A4 If a menstruating woman sees complete purity and performs the ritual bath for her menstruation, she should not pay attention to any dark or yellow discharge that occurs afterwards; due to the statement of Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her)Bulugh al-Maram 143 . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
