What are the expected prospects for the future of the call to Islam?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What are your expectations for the future of the da'wah, in light of the reality we are living in today, and considering the evils that are almost overwhelming the Muslims day by day?

Answer:
Every believer who is aware of the reality, who has insight into the reality, and who knows the people of today, expects all good in the future, holds a good opinion of Allah , and hopes that Islam will grow among all the peoples, and that this youth activity and non-youth activity is to be hoped for great good. So, with the praise of Allah, there is an awakening everywhere: in the Arab countries, and in others, even in the Western countries: in America and Europe, and even in the lands of the Russians, and even in the lands of China.
So the movement, with the praise of Allah, is widespread, and the awakening is great, but it varies according to the regions of the world. It brings good news and points to good, and it appears, and praise be to Allah, that the future belongs to Islam and its people, and that the people are in a good state, despite the many enemies of Islam and the plots they scheme against it. But this awakening and this new movement bring great good news, and great growth and a good outcome are hoped for it. However, it is in great need of unity and cooperation, righteous leadership, patience and perseverance, not despairing, and not rushing in matters. Patience and perseverance are necessary, and care for knowledge and studying knowledge are necessary, and deliberation and not haste are necessary, and cooperation among the movements: from associations, Islamic centers, and preachers. Cooperation is necessary:
And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become dividedوَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا
[Al-Imran:103].
And the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Islam began as a stranger, and it will return as a stranger as it began, so blessed are the strangers; those who reform when the people corrupt.بدأ الإسلام غريبًا، وسيعود غريبًا كما بدأ، فطُوبى للغُرباء؛ الذين يصلحون إذا فسد الناس
, and in the other wording:
who correct what the people have corruptedيُصلحون ما أفسد الناسُ
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2630Da'if (Darussalam)
, so these strangers today are to be hoped for great good in righteousness and reform.
It is obligatory upon every Muslim – and especially the people of knowledge – in every place to support this movement, and to help and support it with everything they can: with words, money, righteous books, and other forms of support, so that it becomes active and strong, along with guiding the ignorant, teaching those who have deviated from the truth, and alerting those who have exaggerated or neglected. Cooperation is necessary; because some people may be driven by their love for good and their activity in it to extremism and excess, and others may be driven by the weakness of their faith and the littleness of their knowledge to harshness and laxity.
So it is obligatory upon the people of knowledge and faith to take the middle path in matters, and to take the hands of the Muslims – and especially their youth – to the middle way:
And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His wayوَأَنَّ هَذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ
[Al-An'am:153],
And thus we have made you a just communityوَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطًا
[Al-Baqarah 2:143]
the verse [Al-Baqarah:143], so not with the extremists, and not with the harsh, but with the people of moderation and uprightness.
