The ruling on a pregnant woman who is unable to fast in Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
My wife was unable to fast for a full month of Ramadan, based on the doctor's advice, due to the pregnancy. About four years have passed, and she has not been able to fast it to this day. What is obligatory for her in this regard? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
She has to fast whenever she is able, even if it is after ten years. Whenever she is able, she fasts, as long as she does not have an illness that is not expected to be cured, but rather it is the pregnancy and the like of it, which is breastfeeding. Whenever she is able, she fasts, even if it is in a scattered manner: one day she fasts, and one day she breaks the fast, until she finishes, even if it is after many years; because Allah says:
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[al-Taghabun:16].
