What is the evidence for the prescription of giving reminders at graves?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Every day, people die, and preachers strive to preach to the people at their burials around the grave. Then young men, may Allah guide them, or old men come and deny it to them, saying, "This is a religious innovation." So what is the basis for its prescription?

Answer:
Giving reminders at graves was done by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), as in the hadith of Ali in the two Sahihs. He was sitting at a grave, so he preached to the people and said:
None of you is there except that his place in Paradise and his place in the Fire has been written for them. They said: O Messenger of Allah, then what is the work for? He said: Work, for everyone is facilitated for what he was created for. As for the people of happiness, they are facilitated for the work of the people of happiness, and as for the people of misery, they are facilitated for the work of the people of misery.
, then he recited the words of the Exalted:
As for he who gave and feared Allahفَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَى وَاتَّقَى ۝
and he believed in the best, so We will make it easy for him toward the easy [al-Layl:5-7], the verses from the surah "When the Night Covers." Ibn Kathir mentioned this when interpreting this verse.
Likewise, in the hadith of al-Bara' with a sound chain in al-Tirmidhi and others, that he (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting at a grave and reminded the people, mentioning the death of a person and the exit of his soul, its ascent to 'Aliyyin if he was a believer and his soul was good, and its return from the sky if his soul was bad.
And because the people at the grave have hearts that are soft, they are affected by preaching and reminders when death is mentioned, and they are suitable for accepting the reminder at that time.
