The Meaning of the Saying of Allah the Exalted: {Allah Confirms Those Who Believe...}

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is the confirmation (in the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Allah keeps firm those who believeيُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا..
[Ibrahim 14:27]
) only in the questioning in the grave, or before that?

Answer:
The confirmation occurs at that time and when the soul departs. So when the believer’s time comes, he is given glad tidings of Paradise, and the angels come to him to give him glad tidings of the mercy of Allah. He then loves to meet Allah, and Allah loves to meet him. The disbeliever is the opposite of that: he hates to meet Allah, and Allah hates to meet him.
Q: His saying (peace and blessings be upon him) in his supplication:
O changer of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religionيا مقلب القلوب ثبت قلبي على دينك
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3587Hasan (Darussalam)
here?
A: All of this is from the good supplication that he (peace and blessings be upon him) used.
O Allah, O Overturner of hearts, make my heart firm in Your deen.اللهم يا مقلب القلوب ثبت قلبي على دينك
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 683
This is from the great supplication, from the comprehensive words. So if the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said that, then others are even more entitled to do so.
