O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا يسخر قوم من قوم
[Al-Hujurat 49:11]
Is it from the good that we are commanded to do, or is it from the evil that we are forbidden from? The second means it is from the evil that we are forbidden from.
fear Allah and be with those who are true. يا أيها الذين اتقوا الله وكونوا مع الصادقين
[At-Tawbah 9:119]
From where? From the good that we are commanded to do. It is sufficient for a person to be proud, and it is sufficient for a believing person to be proud, that the Creator of the earth and the heavens addresses him with this noble description.
