Review of the previous verse: And if many descriptions are numerous and have followed *** in need of mentioning them, you appended them.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
It has been established that when descriptions are numerous and the described thing is singular, it does not escape one of two states: either it is in need of them, or it is not. The meaning of it being in need of them is that it is not specified without them, and it is not known without them. For example, if you say: "Zayd the generous, the brave, the Qurayshi came," and there is a Zayd who is generous, brave, and Tamimi. How many descriptions do we have here?
The student: Three.

The Shaykh : Three descriptions, but do these three not become specified except by the third, or do they?
The student: Yes.

The Shaykh : They do not become specified except by the third, because if you say: "Zayd the generous, the brave came," up to now we do not know if he is the Tamimi or the Qurayshi. So when you say: "the Qurayshi," it becomes specified. Accordingly, it is obligatory to append all these descriptions, because it is not specified without them. For this reason, he said:
"And if many descriptions are numerous and have followed *** in need of mentioning them"
And where is the answer to the condition here? "You appended them".
