The ruling on a woman wearing a white dress on her wedding night

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Our sister asks and says: Is it permissible to wear a white dress and a white veil on the wedding night, given that the people of the country wear this type of clothing as well as other types?
Answer: If it is not in the manner of men's clothing, there is nothing wrong with it; because all colors are permissible for everyone, green, red, white, and black are permissible for both men and women. However, a man must not imitate a woman, and a woman must not imitate a man, neither in clothing nor in anything else. So, if the white clothing that some women wear for marriage does not resemble men's clothing in any way, and no imitation occurs, there is no blame on them. However, leaving that and wearing the customary clothing for women is more preferable, better, safer, and further from doubt; because the common practice for men is to wear white, so if women leave that, it is better, more complete, and further from imitation.
Then, what people do must be among women. As for what some people do of... what you do on the wedding night, the night of the marriage, where the man enters upon the women while they are uncovered, this is not permissible. This is reprehensible. Rather, if it is necessary, they should do it in a private room, and her husband enters upon her in the private room. As for placing her on a bed or on a raised place, and the man entering upon her among the women while they are uncovered, or entering upon her and kissing her in front of people, all of this is due to a lack of modesty and is not permissible. Rather, one must be cautious of that. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good and benefit us with your knowledge.
