Ruling on Women Dyeing Their Nails with Nail Polish

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first message in this episode came from Sister Hasanah bint Muhammad al-Harbi from al-Qasim. She says in her message: What is the ruling on dyeing the nails black, which is known as "dough" or "manicure"? Is it permissible or not? Please inform us, may Allah reward you.
Answer: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance.
As for the answer: Dyeing the nails with black dye is not a problem and there is no harm in it, whether it is nail polish or not. However, henna is better than nail polish, and leaving off nail polish is more preferable and better. But if a woman uses it, she must remove it at the time of ablution; because, as far as we have been informed, it has a body (substance). She should remove it when performing ablution so that it does not prevent water from reaching the nail. Likewise, if she puts anything else on her nails that has a body, it must be removed at the time of ablution so that the water reaches the nail itself. As for dye, there is no harm in it, whether black or red; there is no harm in it, just like henna. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
