A woman applied nail polish (a substance for coloring the nails) and then performed the full ritual bath to remove major ritual impurity, but she had not removed this nail polish from her nails and did not

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A woman applied nail polish to her nails and then performed the full ritual bath to remove major ritual impurity, but she had not removed this nail polish from her nails and did not remember until three or four hours later. Is it obligatory for her to repeat the full ritual bath after removing this nail polish?

The Shaykh : First, we must ask about wearing this nail polish? As far as I know, this nail polish makes the nails look long, so that when a person sees them, he thinks the woman’s nails are long. This is undoubtedly a disfigurement and a display of something in which the woman contradicts the innate natural disposition, because the innate natural disposition is to cut the nails, and this is the opposite of cutting the nails. In other words, the woman appears as if her nails are long, so she is trying to beautify herself in a way that contradicts the innate natural disposition. My advice to my sisters is to leave off this nail polish. Also, it disfigures the woman’s fingers rather than beautifying them. Furthermore, it sometimes happens that a woman forgets to remove it, and then she performs the ablution for prayer or the full ritual bath while it is still on her. In that case, her full ritual bath and her ablution for prayer are not valid, because this nail polish prevents the water from reaching the skin.
As for the answer to the question.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : We say that she must repeat the full ritual bath and must repeat the prayer she performed during that full ritual bath.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : That is, the first full ritual bath which was not valid.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh.
