Breaking the Fast in Ramadan on the Grounds of Work

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
He asks a second time and says: I broke my fast in Ramadan while I was in Iraq for the sake of the work from which I support my children, but I am able to make up the fasting when I return to Egypt. What is the ruling on that? May Allah reward you.
Answer: As long as you intended to reside in Iraq for work, you must fast. If you intended to stay for Ramadan or longer than Ramadan in Iraq or elsewhere, you must fast with the people, and you have no excuse for breaking the fast. This is the position of the majority of scholars that you must fast and you are not in the ruling of a traveler; rather, you fast with the people. If something prevents you, such as illness, or if you travel during Ramadan, you may break the fast due to travel and illness. However, if you are a resident working, you must fast with the Muslims, and it is not permissible for you to break the fast. If you break the fast without an excuse of travel or illness, you must repent to Allah and you must make up the fast. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
