The ruling on the hadith stating that Surat al-Mulk intercedes for its reciter

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
One of... and it is the surah:
Blessed is He in whose hand is dominionتَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ
[Al-Mulk:1], I hope you will clarify to us the authenticity of this hadith?
Answer: The hadith is well-known from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I do not know its status of authenticity right now. If it is authentic, the meaning is that it interceded for him because he acted in accordance with its implications; he acted in accordance with its implications, so he obeyed Allah alone and remained steadfast upon His command, and he acted upon what it requires of obedience to Allah and His Messenger. As for if he recited it but did not act upon it, it will not benefit him. Even if he recited the entire Qur'an but did not act upon it, it will not intercede for him. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
and the Qur'an is proof, either for you or against youوالقرآن حجة لك أو عليك
Sunan an-Nasa'i 2437Sahih (Darussalam)
, meaning it is an argument for him if he acts upon it, and against him if he does not act upon it. So this is the case with this surah: if the hadith is authentic, the meaning is that it interceded because he acted upon it and acted in accordance with its implications. This is what intercedes for them, and the entire Qur'an intercedes for him if he fulfills its right. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
