The Meaning of the Statement of Allah the Exalted: (And Allah has made some of you superior to others...)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
One of the listening brothers, (M. A. K.), asks: Allah the Exalted said:
And Allah has favored some of you over others in provision. But those who were favored would not hand over their provision to those whom their right hands possess so they would be equal to them therein. Then is it the favor of Allah they reject?
[Surah al-Nahl: 71]?
Answer: On its apparent meaning, Allah has made some people superior to others. This one is a merchant and this one is poor, and this one’s trade is greater than the other’s. The merchant does not hand over his wealth to his slaves; rather, he spends on them, treats them well, and does not give them his wealth, but rather he spends on them, treats them well, and helps them with some money. It is in the nature of a person that he does not hand over his wealth to his slaves, and this is a matter known by innate disposition and reason, as indicated by the Shari'ah and the evidence. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
