The ruling on the imam raising his voice in supplication after the prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner from Yemen says: Some of the people here have the habit that after the imam finishes the prayer, each of us performs the seeking of forgiveness and the prescribed remembrances after the prayer in a low voice. But then the imam makes supplication in an audible voice, and the followers say "Ameen" and respond to the supplication after the imam. Is this practice valid, or what is it?
rewarded.

Answer:
This is a religious innovation (bid'ah); it has no basis. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not do it, nor did the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them and grant them satisfaction). But each person should remember Allah and make supplication between himself and his Lord, reciting the prescribed remembrances and making supplication after the remembrances between himself and his Lord. There is nothing wrong with that.
And supplication before the closing salam is better; supplication before the salam is better. Because when the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) taught the Companions the tashahhud, the sending of blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and seeking refuge with Allah from the punishment of the Hellfire, from the punishment of the grave, from the trial of life and death, and from the trial of the Dajjal, he ordered them to ask, and he said:
Then let him choose from the supplications what he likes and supplicate, and then let him choose from the requests what he wishes.
So a person supplicates to his Lord at the end of the prayer, and if he supplicates after the remembrance following the salam, there is nothing wrong with it.
So the Sunnah for the believer when he says the salam from the obligatory prayer is to say: "I seek forgiveness from Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah," three times, "O Allah, You are Peace, and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Owner of Majesty and Honor." This is how the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do it, as Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to seek forgiveness three times when he turned away from the prayer, and say:
"O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from you is As-Salam. You are blessed, O One of Magnificence and Generosity."
Sunan Abi Dawud 1512Sahih (Al-Albani)
.
And Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: "That when he said:
O Allah, You are Peace.
he turned to the people." The imam, if he is an imam, then the imam, the one praying alone, and the congregation say after this: "There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is able to do all things." And it is better to repeat it three times. Then he says:
There is no power and no strength except by Allah. There is no god but Allah, and we worship none but Him. His is the grace, and His is the favor, and His is the good praise. There is no god but Allah, we are sincere to Him in religion, even if the disbelievers should be displeased. O Allah, there is no one who can prevent what You have given, and there is no one who can give what You have withheld, and the wealth of the wealthy does not benefit him against You.
Sahih Muslim 594a
All of this is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he said the salam from the prayer, he said this.
And it is recommended to add ten times in Maghrib and Fajr:
None has the right to be worshipped by Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him belongs the praise, [He gives life and causes death,] and He has power over all thingsلا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد، يحيي ويميت، وهو على كل شيء قدير
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3553Sahih (Darussalam)
along with the aforementioned remembrance. He adds this remembrance in Fajr and Maghrib:
None has the right to be worshipped by Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him belongs the praise, [He gives life and causes death,] and He has power over all thingsلا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد، يحيي ويميت، وهو على كل شيء قدير
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3553Sahih (Darussalam)
ten times.
Then after this, he glorifies, magnifies, and praises [Allah] thirty-three times: "Subhan Allah" (Glory be to Allah), "Alhamdulillah" (Praise be to Allah), and "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is the Greatest) thirty-three times. The total is ninety-nine. And he completes the hundred by saying:
There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner. To Him belong the Kingdom and praise, and He has power over everything
Muwatta Malik 20:131
This is recommended for the man and the woman after the obligatory prayer, meaning: the five obligatory prayers—Zuhr, 'Asr, Maghrib, 'Isha', and Fajr. When he says the salam, he says: "I seek forgiveness from Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah,"
"O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from you is As-Salam. You are blessed, O One of Magnificence and Generosity."
Sunan Abi Dawud 1512Sahih (Al-Albani)
"Our Lord, He is Peace, the One who grants peace to His servants. His name is Peace, and from Him comes peace. He is the One who grants peace to His servants. He is the One who bestows safety upon the servants from Him (Exalted and Majestic is He). Blessed are You, O Owner of Majesty and Honor." "Blessed" (Tubarakta) is an attribute of intensification that is not fitting except for Allah. Blessed is Allah, our Lord. It is not said: "Blessed are You, O so-and-so, upon us." No, this is a description of Allah
blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds.
[Al-A'raf: 54],
Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion
[Al-Mulk: 1].
Then after this, he says:
There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner. To Him belong the Kingdom and praise, and He has power over everything
Muwatta Malik 20:131
And if he adds:
He gives life and causes death.
that is also good.
This and that have come. He repeats it three times after Zuhr, 'Asr, 'Isha', Maghrib, and Fajr, and says after it:
There is no power and no strength except by Allah. There is no god but Allah, and we worship none but Him. His is the grace, and His is the favor, and His is the good praise. There is no god but Allah, we are sincere to Him in religion, even if the disbelievers should be displeased. There is no god but Allah. O Allah, there is no one who can prevent what You have given, and there is no one who can give what You have withheld, and the wealth of the wealthy does not benefit him against You.
Sahih Muslim 594a
, and adds in Maghrib and Fajr:
None has the right to be worshipped by Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him belongs the praise, [He gives life and causes death,] and He has power over all thingsلا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد، يحيي ويميت، وهو كل على شيء قدير
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3553Sahih (Darussalam)
ten times.
Then he glorifies, praises, and magnifies thirty-three times after the five obligatory prayers: "Subhan Allah," "Alhamdulillah," and "Allahu Akbar" thirty-three times. This makes ninety-nine. Then he completes the hundred by saying: "There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise, and He is able to do all things." And it is recommended that he say after this the Verse of the Throne:
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence
[Al-Baqarah: 255] and recite:
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحّدٌ
[Al-Ikhlas: 1] and the two Mu'awwidhat (chapters of seeking refuge) as well. This is recommended. And he repeats:
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحّدٌ
[Al-Ikhlas: 1] and the two Mu'awwidhat after Maghrib and after Fajr three times:
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحّدٌ
[Al-Ikhlas: 1] and
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreakقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الفَلَقِ
[Al-Falaq: 1] and
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النّاسِ
[An-Nas: 1] after Fajr and Maghrib three times is better. Yes.
