Question:
This is a questioner from Yemen, I think, who says: O His Eminence the Shaykh: We ask you, may your excellence be pleased, to explain to us this noble verse: [Ar-Rahman:46]?
Answer:
These are great verses, indicating that whoever fears the standing before Allah is among the people of the two elevated, great Gardens; because sincere fear of Allah leads to performing the obligatory duties, avoiding the forbidden, and hastening to every good. Whoever fears Allah sincerely hastens to every good and stays away from every evil; therefore, Allah promised him the two great Gardens, which are the two elevated Gardens relative to the other two Gardens. Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Mulk:12] And among the great reward is entering Paradise and being saved from the Fire. Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Mu'minun 23:57] And those who believe in the signs of their Lord And those who do not associate anything with their Lord And those who give what they have given while their hearts are fearful that they are returning to their Lord Those are the ones who hasten in good deeds, and they are the first to reach them [Al-Mu’minun:57-61].
So when fear becomes great and intense, it obligates the one who fears to perform the obligatory duties of Allah, avoid the forbidden of Allah, and hasten to every good; therefore, he attains the high rank in Paradise: [Ar-Rahman:46] And whoever claims to fear while he is negligent in obeying Allah, or commits the sins of Allah; he has lied; his fear is weak. Sincere fear leads its owner to perform the obligatory duties of Allah, avoid the forbidden of Allah, and hasten to every good. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, O Shaykh.

Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.
