Are the calamities that befall a servant considered the anger of Allah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner says: If a person is struck by a calamity regarding his honor, is this calamity considered the anger of Allah and displeasure, or is it a mitigation of sins and an hastening of the punishment?
Please inform us of this.

Answer:
A calamity is of two types: a calamity that harms him, such as illness, and the like. This is an expiation for sins. Or the second type of calamity is death, the death of a child, the death of a relative, the death of a brother, and the like. In this case, he must be patient and seek reward, and he will be rewarded for it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Wondrous is the affair of the believer, for all his affairs are good for him. If he is struck by hardship, he is patient, and it is good for him. And if he is struck by prosperity, he is grateful, and it is good for him. And that is not for anyone except the believer.عجبًا لأمر المؤمن إن أمره كله له خير، إن أصابته ضراء صبر فكان خيرًا له، وإن أصابته سراء شكر فكان خيرًا له، وليس ذلك لأحد إلا للمؤمن
If he is struck by what he dislikes, it is an expiation for his evil deeds, whether it is illness, poverty, or the empowerment of some of his enemies against him and their harming him.
As for if it is due to an ugly action from him, such as drinking intoxicants, undutifulness to parents, or fornication, then the calamities are a mitigation of the sin and a mitigation of the punishments. Allah mitigates for him the punishments thereby, along with the obligation of repentance upon him. So calamities expiate evil deeds and mitigate the disasters and trials that occur
No worry, no grief, no illness, no pain, or even a thorn that pricks him strikes a Muslim, but that Allah expiates his sins thereby.ما أصاب مسلم من هم ولا غم ولا مرض ولا وصب ولا.. حتى الشوكة يشاكها إلا كفر الله بها من خطاياه
.
So the believer is rewarded for the calamities, and Allah expiates his sins thereby. And if he has sins, those calamities become among the causes of expiation, along with the obligation of repentance. Yes.
