The ruling on praying four rak'ahs before 'Asr

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This is a questioner for the program who says: Are the four rak'ahs before the 'Asr prayer mentioned in the hadith?

Answer:
Yes, it is recommended, based on his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
May Allah mercy on a person who prays four Rak'at before the 'Asr prayer.رحم الله امرأً صلى أربعًا قبل العصر
Bulugh al-Maram 2:263
This is a good hadith with no objection, an authentic hadith.
May Allah mercy on a person who prays four Rak'at before the 'Asr prayer.رحم الله امرأً صلى أربعًا قبل العصر
Bulugh al-Maram 2:263
with two taslims, he says taslim after every two rak'ahs; this is the best. Likewise, four before the midday prayer, and likewise four after the midday prayer is better. If he is content with two after the midday prayer, that suffices, but the best is four before it and four after it, based on his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whoever prays regularly four Rak'at before and four Rak'at after the Zuhr prayer, Allah will forbid for him (from entering) the Hellfire.من حافظ على أربع قبل الظهر وأربع بعدها؛ حرمه الله على النار
Bulugh al-Maram 2:262
