Ruling on one who says to his wife: "You are divorced, divorced, divorced"; and he wants to take her back

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
From Jeddah, Al-Kandara district. This is a message sent by one of the listening brothers from there. He says: The sender is Abdullah al-Sayyid. Our brother began his message by saying: Your Eminence, Shaykh Abdul Aziz ibn Baz (may Allah preserve him), peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings.
My problem is that the word of divorce came from me to my wife. I was returning home after the end of work, and I was surprised to find my wife meeting me with anger. I did not find lunch prepared after the end of work, even though everything was available in the house. So I said to her: Why did you not cook lunch today? She answered: I do not want to cook; rather, I will bring your food from the restaurant. At that moment, I lost my composure, and the words came from me: "You are divorced, divorced, divorced." I want your Eminence to now inform me of the ruling: Is it permissible for me to take back my wife, since I have the desire to return, and she also desires to return to me? I have a small child from her, six months old.
Give us a ruling, may Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
We see that you, the woman, and her guardian should attend the honorable judge at your location so that he can look into the matter and issue a ruling for you based on what he deems appropriate, or he can write the facts to me, and I will look into that. You, the woman, and the guardian should all attend the court and the judge (may Allah grant him understanding) to look into the matter. If he issues a ruling for you, and praise be to Allah, and if he sees fit to record your words, the woman's words, and her guardian's words, and the description of the situation, and whether there was a divorce before or after, and the nature of your anger and its causes, then after that, when the answer comes, we will look into the matter (if Allah wills). This is the method we follow in such cases. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and may He benefit us with your knowledge.
