The questioner : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh. If a man divorced his wife and said to her, “You are divorced, divorced, divorced, divorced,” four times, then he left the gathering where he and his wife were, and his wife’s brother caught up with him and said, “Did you divorce her?” He said, “Yes, she is divorced, divorced,” twice. Then, after a period of time, he returned and said, “I want to take back my wife,” and said, “I was angry, so I want to take back my wife.” What is the ruling, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : By Allah, O beloved one, this is a specific case, and we do not issue a general fatwa on it. However, we say: tell this man, in whom this speech occurred, to contact us or other scholars of knowledge, and let him ask in person. And if the matter happened to you, then after the session ends, I will inform you of the answer, if Allah wills. The last one.
