Ruling on burning camels afflicted with contagious diseases?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I am a camel owner. One of my camels was afflicted with a contagious disease, so I feared for the other camels, but I was unable to separate it from them. So I burned it. What is the ruling on this?

Answer:
If he slaughters it and then burns it, there is no harm. He should slaughter it first. If he slaughters it and it is not feasible for anyone to want it, he burns it. However, if he finds poor people who will eat it, he gives it to the poor; because some people eat it and the scab does not harm them, for fire removes it. If it is cooked, it may not harm them. It has reached us in the past that people eat it in times of need and it does not harm them, and if it harms them slightly, it goes away.
So if there is no one with him who needs it or will eat it, he burns it after slaughtering it so that no harm comes to the other camels because of it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
A sick person should not be taken to one who is healthyلا يُورد ممرضٌ على مُصحٍّ
Sahih Muslim 2221a
And even though there is no contagion, the Prophet said:
There is no transitive disease, no ill omenلا عدوى، ولا طيرة
Sahih Muslim 2222a
, no contagion: nothing is contagious by its nature, but Allah made the mixing of the healthy with the sick one of the causes of the healthy being afflicted. So if he moves it to another direction, to another place, or gives it to one of the people if he finds someone who accepts it, that is better than burning it. If that is not feasible, he slaughters it and then burns it.
Q: It is understood from the question that he burned it without slaughtering it?
The Shaykh: Burning it while it is alive is not permissible. It is necessary to slaughter it and then burn it afterwards.
