The Ruling on Pamphlets Containing Fictional Healing Stories and the Like

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner: I am presenting to you this pamphlet that is distributed from time to time. In it, it says: “My Muslim brothers and sisters, a girl aged thirteen years fell ill with a severe illness, and the doctors were unable to treat her. One night, the illness intensified for her, and the poor girl cried until sleep overtook her. She saw in her dream Lady Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her and grant her satisfaction) placing tar in her mouth. After she woke up, she found that she had been completely cured of the illness. Lady Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her and grant her satisfaction) asked her to write this account thirteen times and distribute it to Muslims, men and women, so that they may look at the power of Allah …” to the end of this pamphlet. It asks: What is the role of the security officer in eradicating this?

Answer:
This is an invalid pamphlet. Whoever finds it must burn it, and it is obligatory to punish the one who distributes it and to disapprove of it; because this is one of the schemes of Satan. This is a Satanic dream, intended to occupy people with this and to call them to exaggeration regarding the People of the House: Zaynab and others besides Zaynab, just as the Rafidah do.
This is an invalid Satanic dream, with no basis. Rather, it must be destroyed, burned, and disapproved of—may Allah grant us safety.
