Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This is our brother, the questioner Abu Abd al-Rahman from Riyadh, who sent a set of questions, saying: I ask you to be kind enough to answer them, O Shaykh. What is the ruling on performing wudu for prayer before the time has entered?
Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance.
As for what follows:
There is no harm in performing wudu before the time, such as performing wudu for the Asr prayer and praying Maghrib with it, or performing wudu for the Dhuhr prayer and praying Asr with it, provided the state of purity remains with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes pray several prayer times with a single wudu. May Allah send blessings and peace upon him. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you, Your Eminence.
