Question:
I am a young man who repented to Allah , then I continued in my repentance and felt the sweetness of faith, then I disobeyed Allah, then I returned to repentance. Should I continue in this state?
Answer:
You must praise and thank Allah for the repentance He has bestowed upon you, and for the sin that was followed by repentance; Allah will erase it. You have heard in the research: [Al-Furqan:70] from the words of Allah , and Allah says: [An-Nur:31], and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan Ibn Majah 4250Da’if (Darussalam). So adhere to repentance and be steadfast upon it, and beware lest Satan lures you away again.
So you must adhere to repentance, keep the company of the righteous, and beware of the wicked, for Satan may drag you into sin, and then you may die upon it before your repentance. Beware lest Satan drags you into sins and death overtakes you while you are in sin: whether by a collision, a car accident, a stroke, or otherwise.
Adhere to repentance, adhere to it before your term overtakes you, and beware of Satan’s deception and obeying him. Satan says: do it, do it, and you will repent. Who tells you that you will repent?
Your heart may be sealed, and your heart may become hard; so you do not repent. Your term may overtake you while you are in sin without having repented, and you will meet Allah in sin.
So you must adhere to repentance and be cautious, and ask your Lord for success and guidance, for matters are in His hand , and hearts are in His hand (Exalted and Majestic is He). So be humble before Him constantly, asking Him to guide you, to keep you steadfast, and to protect you from Satan and his whispers, and from bad companions.

Except those who repent, believe
إِلَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَAnd turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.
وَتُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا أَيُّهَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَThe one who repents from sin is like one who did not sin.
