. And Allah revealed regarding this:

And they ask you about menstruation. Say, "It is harm, so keep away from wives during menstruation. And do not approach them until they are pure.

وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْمَحِيضِ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى فَاعْتَزِلُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي الْمَحِيضِ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّى يَطْهُرْنَ

[al-Baqarah: 222], meaning intercourse. As for him lying with her, sleeping with her, kissing her, and embracing her, there is no harm in that, except for intercourse only.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) used to drink from the vessel, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would take it and put his mouth where her mouth had been. And if a bone sweated, he would take that and sweat it as well, to please her heart, to comfort her, and to caress her.
