What is the ruling on using the secret habit to treat nocturnal emissions?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I heard on the radio a question that was asked but not answered. It was: "I am a young man who experiences frequent nocturnal emissions at night, to the extent that it happens every night. The doctor advised me to use the secret habit, and I did so, and the situation improved. What is your opinion? Please inform us, may Allah reward you."

Answer:
The secret habit is not permissible. It is masturbation, and it causes many problems and great harms. It falls under the statement of Allah, (Exalted and Majestic is He):
But whoever seeks beyond that, those are the transgressors.فَمَنِ ابْتَغَى وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ
[Al-Mu'minun: 7]. He, the Exalted, said:
(5) And they who guard their private parts (6) Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - (7) But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors -وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ ۝ إِلَّا عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ ۝ فَمَنِ ابْتَغَى وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ
[Al-Mu'minun: 5-7], meaning: the wrongdoers.
Doctors are not a place for seeking legal rulings, nor do they have knowledge of the rulings. They only inform about what their medicine and their knowledge of people's diseases and problems related to the ailments that afflict humans lead them to.
Therefore, it is obligatory for one who is afflicted with frequent nocturnal emissions to strive in the means of safety from that by hastening to marriage if he is able, and by fasting, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Young man, those of you who can support a wife should marry, for it keeps you from looking at strange women and preserves you from immorality; but those who cannot should devote themselves to fasting, for it is a means of suppressing sexual desire.يا معشر الشباب، مَن استطاع منكم الباءة فليتزوج، فإنه أغضُّ للبصر، وأحصن للفرج، ومَن لم يستطع فعليه بالصوم؛ فإنه له وجاء

. He should stay away from the causes of the release of semen, so he stays away from mixing with women, or looking at them, or being exposed to markets where there are women. He should stay away from the causes of this trial so that his nocturnal emissions do not become frequent.
And when he sleeps and places his body on the bed, he should read what is easy for him: he should read the Verse of the Throne, and read
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
and the two chapters of protection (al-Mu'awwidhatayn) in his hands three times. He should wipe with them over his face, his temples, and the front of his body, and say: "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created" three times, and "In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on earth or in the sky can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing" three times.
All of this is among the means of safety from the malice of Satan, and from everything that harms him.
