Ruling on the non-mu'adhdhin performing the iqamah and reciting Ayat al-Kursi before the post-prayer dhikr

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
We have people who say: the one who calls the adhan is the one who performs the iqamah. And we have the phenomenon of reciting Ayat al-Kursi before the tasbih after the prayer. What is your opinion on this? Please give us a ruling.
May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
It is better for the one who calls the adhan to perform the iqamah; that is the best. If someone else performs it, there is no blame on him. If someone else performs it, there is no blame on him. But the best is for the mu'adhdhin to be the one who performs the iqamah, as Bilal used to call the adhan and perform the iqamah (may Allah be pleased with him) . But if someone else performs it because the mu'adhdhin is busy, or if he allows someone else to perform it, there is nothing wrong with that.
Likewise, there is no blame in the phenomenon of reciting Ayat al-Kursi before the tasbih. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) encouraged reciting Ayat al-Kursi after the prayer. If one recites it before the dhikr, there is nothing wrong with it. But the best is for it to be after the dhikr; because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to remember Allah after the taslim. So the best is to start with the dhikr, then recite it quietly after the adhkar. That is the best.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good. And if the recitation of Ayat al-Kursi is done collectively, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh: No, he recites it quietly between himself and his Lord, not collectively. A person recites it after the taslim, and after the dhikr, quietly between himself and his Lord, and does not recite it collectively with the people. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah bless you. I believe our brother is asking about it being recited collectively?

The Shaykh: No, collectively it is not valid. It is a religious innovation, and it is not permissible to recite it collectively. But it is recited between himself and his Lord after the prescribed adhkar. That is the best.

The presenter: Every person who prays recites it between himself and his Lord.

The Shaykh: After he finishes the adhkar, yes. And likewise, the recitation of
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[al-Ikhlas: 1] and the two Mu'awwidhat is recited between himself and his Lord after every prayer. And after Fajr three times, and after Maghrib three times.
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[al-Ikhlas: 1] and the two Mu'awwidhat three times after Maghrib, three times after Fajr. As for after Zuhr, 'Asr, and 'Isha', it is once, between himself and his Lord. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah benefit you.
