Advice to the Muslim Girl

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our sister says: “Your Eminence, Allah knows how much I love you for the sake of Allah, and I ask you, O our Shaykh, to give me advice for the sake of Allah, as you would advise one of your daughters regarding my religion and my character. I hope for that.”

Answer:
May Allah love you as you love us for His sake. Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) informed, through the tongue of His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that those who love one another for His majesty are among the seven whom Allah will shade with His shade on the Day when there is no shade except His. He said (peace and blessings be upon him):
There are seven whom Allah will shade in His shade on the day on which there is no shade except His shadeسبعة يظلهم الله في ظله يوم لا ظل إلا ظله
Muwatta Malik 51:14
He mentioned two of them who loved one another for the sake of Allah, they met for that, and they parted for it. And he said (peace and blessings be upon him):
Allah would say on the Day of Resurrection: Where are those who have mutual love for My Glory's sake? Today I shall shelter them in My shadow when there is no other shadow but the shadow of Mine.يقول الله يوم القيامة: أين المتحابون بجلالي؟ اليوم أظلهم في ظلي، يوم لا ظل إلا ظلي
Sahih Muslim 2566
.
So, loving one another for the sake of Allah is among the best characteristics of faith, and among the best of the means of drawing near to Allah.
My advice to you, O sister, and to the other sisters is to fear Allah in all circumstances and to be steadfast upon His religion (peace and blessings be upon him)and to love for His sake and hate for His sake, to be good in conduct with people, to fulfill what is required of dutifulness to parents, to maintain family ties as far as one is able, to guard one's time from what is not appropriate, and to increase in the remembrance of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
This is how the believer should be, and this is how the believing woman should be, guarding their time so that they occupy it with the obedience of Allah and His remembrance (peace and blessings be upon him)and guarding their limbs from what Allah has forbidden and increasing in the obedience of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), as Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said::
Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah " and then remained on a right course - the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised.إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ ۝
[Fussilat 41:30]
We are your allies in this worldly life and in the Hereafter, and therein you will have whatever your souls desire and whatever you ask fora provision from the Forgiving, the Merciful[Surah Fussilat: 30-32].
This is the reward for the one who is steadfast upon the religion of Allah in his night and his day, and in all his times, so he guards his limbs from the prohibitions of Allah, and occupies his tongue and his limbs with the obedience of Allah and His remembrance, and stands at the limits of Allah, and loves for the sake of Allah, and hates for the sake of Allah, and shows loyalty for the sake of Allah, and shows hostility for the sake of Allah, and gives for the sake of Allah, and withholds for the sake of Allah, and fulfills the right that is upon him toward his parents, his relatives, his neighbor, and his Muslim brothers.
So my advice to you and to others is what has been mentioned: it is to fear Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He), to be eager to perform the obligatory duties at all times, to guard one's time from what is not appropriate, and to occupy it with the remembrance of Allah and His obedience (peace and blessings be upon him)We ask Allah for success and guidance for everyone.

The presenter: O Allah, amen. May Allah reward you with good.
