The recommended supplication in prostration of recitation

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the recommended supplication in prostration of recitation?

Answer:
It is like the supplication in the prostration of prayer; it is recommended for him to supplicate with whatever good supplications are easy for him, and the transmitted supplication is better, such as
O Lord, forgive me all my sins, small and great, first and last, open and secret.
Sahih Muslim 483
,
O Allah, O Overturner of hearts, make my heart firm in Your deen.
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 683
, or
O Turner of hearts, turn my heart toward Your obedience
. The good transmitted supplications are more preferred than others, such as: “O Allah, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.” He says this not as a recitation, but as a supplication.
Likewise, he supplicates for his parents, for his Muslim relatives, and for his offspring. He asks Allah from His bounty for lawful provision, or a righteous wife, or a righteous husband if he is a woman, or the like of that. He supplicates with whatever is easy for him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith:
Glorify your Lord in Ruku' (bowing posture) and exert yourself in supplication in prostration. Thus your supplications are liable to be accepted.
Riyad as-Salihin 1427
, meaning: It is likely that your supplications will be answered. It was narrated by Muslim in his Sahih.
And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The nearest a servant come to his Lord is when he is prostrating himself, so make supplication often.
Sunan Abi Dawud 875Sahih (Al-Albani)
, also narrated by Muslim. This indicates the legitimacy of increasing supplication in prostration, and there is no specific supplication that is obligatory. Rather, the believing man and woman supplicate with whatever Allah makes easy for them of supplications, in what they need of supplications that contain no sin and no severing of family ties, but rather permissible supplication.
