Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The following message was received by the program from Kuwait, sent by one of the sisters from there. The writer says: Your sister in Islam from Kuwait has two cases:
The first case: She says: A woman was afflicted with an illness and said: “Charity for the sake of Allah, if He heals me, I will not leave the prayer.” She was healed but did not fulfill what she said, and she does not know what “charity for the sake of Allah” means? Is it an oath or a vow? After a period of time, she repented and wonders what the expiation for that is?

Answer:
As long as she has repented, praise be to Allah; because the prayer is obligatory upon her even if she had not made a vow, and the vow only serves to emphasize the standing.
Repentance wipes out what came before itالتوبة تجب ما قبلها
.
She must be upright, continue in obedience to Allah, maintain the prayer that Allah has made obligatory upon her, and beware of the whispers of Satan and bad company. We ask Allah for steadfastness in the truth for us and for her, and she owes nothing for what was missed. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
