Is it permissible for a woman to wipe over the hijab during wudu?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
She says: If I perform wudu while wearing the hijab on my head, because there is no time at work to remove the hijab from my head for wudu and then put it back on, is the wudu valid or not?

Answer:
If by hijab you mean the khimar or shaylah on the head, this is removed when wiping the head. However, if by hijab you mean the traces of the comb in the hair, or the henna in the hair, then one wipes over it, and praise be to Allah. As for the hijab you intended, if it is something else, it must be clarified.
As for if the khimar is tied around the head, and it is difficult to remove, and it was worn while in a state of purity, then one wipes over it for a day and a night, like the leather socks.
And likewise, the turban of a man, if he places it on his head and ties it under his chin, wrapping it around his head, such that it is difficult to remove, then if he wipes over it for a day and a night, there is no harm, provided it was worn while in a state of purity.
So the turban—and the khimar for a woman—both, if worn while in a state of purity, and he or she has tied it, where the woman ties it on her head and he ties it on his head, then this is an excuse for wiping over it, if it was worn while in a state of purity for a day and a night for a resident, and three days and their nights for a traveler; like the leather socks.
As for wearing the khimar ordinarily and the ghutrah ordinarily, one does not wipe over them. When wiping, one removes the ghutrah and wipes, and the woman removes the ordinary khimar and wipes. Or if it was worn while not in a state of purity, it is removed and one wipes over the head. It is necessary for the condition of that wiping to be that it was worn while in a state of purity, and that it is difficult to remove because it is tied—folded on the head, wrapped around the head, encircling the head. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good. Does His Eminence the Shaykh permit me to say: What I know about this hijab?

The Shaykh: Yes.

The presenter: This hijab is a specific garment worn by our Muslim sisters who are nurses, and as you mentioned, it is wrapped around the head, and also under the chin.

The Shaykh: Yes, if this is difficult, if the woman wore it while in a state of purity; this hijab, if worn while in a state of purity and it is wrapped around the head and chin, this involves hardship, so if it is in a state of purity, she wipes over it, and praise be to Allah, for a day and a night for a resident, and three days and their nights for a traveler. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
