Question:
After this, we move on to digging into the depths of Eastern logic, via a message sent by the listener Muhammad Taha Ibrahim. The brother Muhammad says: If you would be so kind, O Shaykh, please direct me to the jurisprudential books from which I can benefit in my religion and my worldly affairs?

Answer:
Yes, there are many books of jurisprudence, but among the best is the Hashiyah (commentary) by Ibn Jasi, the Shaykh Abd al-Rahman ibn Jasi, on al-Rawd al-Murba' (The Square Garden), which is a commentary on Zad al-Mustaqni' (The Provisions of the One Who Is Content). It is printed and available, and it is among the best. Also, al-Muqni' by al-Muwaqqi' ibn Qudama, which has a commentary by the Shaykh Sulayman ibn 'Abd Allah al-Shaykh, is good and beneficial. Among the best is al-'Umdah by al-Muwaqqi', which is concise in jurisprudence, by 'Abd Allah ibn Ahmad ibn Qudama, the author of al-Mughni. And among the best is Dalil al-Talib (The Student's Guide) and its commentary, Manar al-Sabil (The Lighthouse of the Path), which is a commentary on al-Dalil, and it has a takhrij (tracing of hadiths to their sources) by our brother in Allah, the distinguished scholar Shaykh Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani. All of these are beneficial books.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
