A1: Beneficial books for understanding 'aqeedah and other matters vary according to people's differences in understanding, culture, and academic levels. In any case, one should seek guidance from the scholars around him who know his condition, his capacity for comprehension, and his acquisition of knowledge. Among the beneficial books on 'aqeedah in general are [Al-'Aqeedah al-Wasitiyyah] with its commentaries, [Sharh al-'Aqeedah al-Tahawiyyah], and [Kitab al-Tawhid] by the Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab along with its commentary [Fath al-Majid], and its commentary as well [Taysir al-'Aziz al-Hamid], and [Kashf al-Shubuhat] and [Thalathat al-Usul], both by the Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab , and [Al-Tadmuriyyah] and [Al-Hamawiyyah], both by the Shaykh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, and the book [Al-Tawhid] by Ibn Khuzaymah, and the Al-Nuniyyah poem with its commentary. Knowing that the greatest and most noble of books is (The Great Book of Allah), which contains the clearest explanation of the correct 'aqeedah and the refutation of what contradicts it, we advise you to increase in its recitation and reflection on its meanings, for in it are guidance, light, the call to all good, and warning against all evil, as the Exalted said:
Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable
إِنَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ يَهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُAnd success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
