The ruling on one who breaks the fast in Ramadan and does not know the number of days he broke it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I want to fast the days that I missed when I reached puberty, but I do not know how many days they were because I reached puberty at the age of twelve, and I used to fast and break the fast due to the fatigue I experienced. When I reached the age of fourteen, I completed the fasting. As I said, I do not know the number of those days I broke, so guide us. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
You must estimate the days based on your best judgment and careful investigation. If it is most likely in your opinion that it was ten days or fifteen days, fast them. Fast what is feasible for you according to your ability and your predominant estimate.
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacityلا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا
[Al-Baqarah: 286] You must strive and investigate the days you broke after reaching puberty, and you must fast them, whether consecutively or separately. In addition, you must feed one poor person for each day because of the delay in fasting them, which is half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) of dates, rice, or the like, if you are able to do so.
As for if you are poor and unable to do so, then fasting is sufficient, and there is no need to feed, due to the saying of the Exalted:
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[Al-Taghabun: 16]. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
