Is it better for a person to perform ruqyah on himself or to ask someone else to do it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Should a person perform ruqyah on himself or ask someone else to perform it for him?

Answer:
If he performs it on himself, that is good. If he asks someone else to do it, there is nothing wrong with it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Aisha to seek ruqyah, and he ordered the mother of Ja'far's children to seek ruqyah for Ja'far's children. There is nothing wrong with it. And when he performed ruqyah on himself, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ruqyah on himself.
