What is the ruling on a woman wearing gloves and tight clothing?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on a woman wearing gloves? And what is the ruling on wearing tight clothing in front of women?

Answer:
There is nothing wrong with gloves if she is not in a state of ihram. As for the one in ihram, she does not wear them on her hands. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the one in ihram from wearing gloves during Hajj or 'Umrah. However, outside of ihram, there is nothing wrong with her wearing them in the presence of men to cover her hands. This is good. Or she can cover her hands with her other clothing, such as the abaya, the jilbab, or the like. But in ihram, no, she does not wear gloves in ihram during Hajj or 'Umrah.
Likewise, tight clothing is not permissible to wear, neither for a man nor for a woman. Tight clothing that reveals the size of the 'awrah and causes fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) is not to be worn. Rather, it should be moderate, thick, covering, and moderate in fit—neither too loose nor so tight that it reveals the size of the 'awrah. This applies to men and women alike, for everyone. And it is more severe for a woman, especially if men who are not her mahram (a relative one may not marry) or who are her mahram see her.
