What is the ruling on a woman cutting parts of her hair?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on cutting hair from the front, from the back, or all of it (for a woman)?

Answer:
Cutting hair is not recommended; because it is beauty for a woman, it is better for her not to cut it, as it is beauty. But if there is a need for it, or her husband wants it, or because of its excess; it is lightened, so there is no harm. The wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) shortened their hair when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away for the sake of lightening. And if she cuts it for lightening or for something the husband sees between them without the intention of imitating the disbelieving women, there is no blame on her. But leaving it is better and more appropriate; because it is adornment and beauty.
As for shaving, it is forbidden, and likewise what resembles shaving is forbidden.
