Ruling on a Woman Cutting Her Hair

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
You ask: What is the ruling on cutting hair for a woman?

Answer:
We are not aware of any harm in it if it is for a benefit; otherwise, leaving it is better, because it is beauty for a woman. However, if it is long and burdensome to her and she cuts some of it, or if her husband orders her to cut some of it because its length burdens them both, or for other reasons that bring them benefit or beauty, there is no blame in that. It is established that the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cut some of their hair after his death due to the burden. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
