What is the ruling on: “O my beloved,” “O facilitator,” “O guide,” in supplication?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on one who says in his supplication: “O my beloved,” meaning Allah, and says: “O facilitator,” and says: “O guide, O guide”?

Answer:
There is nothing wrong with it; He is the most beloved of all loved ones (peace and blessings be upon him), but you should invoke Him by His names: O Allah, O the Most Merciful; because Allah says:
And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by themوَلِلَّهِ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَى فَادْعُوهُ بِهَا
[Al-A'raf: 180]. He did not say: Invoke Me as “my beloved.” Invoke Me by My names and attributes: O Allah, O the Most Merciful, O the Most Compassionate, O my Lord, O Owner of Majesty and Honor. And even though He is the most beloved of all loved ones, He is invoked by the attributes He has specified (peace and blessings be upon him).
